history/highlights
2002 - current: Sole academic paediatric immunologist in the North
West Region of England covering a population of 8.5 million, with
a remit of research and clinical care of children with immune problems
(immunodeficiency, autoimmunity and allergy). Independent researcher
for pharmaceutical company, UK.
1993-2002: Clinical training leading to European-wide accreditation
as a specialist in paediatric immunology and infectious diseases.
1985-1993: Full-time research in reproductive immunology and placental
oligosaccharide biochemistry, University of Oxford.
Publications
Around 40 peer-reviewed articles, as well as chapters in textbooks
on aspects of hypertension, reproductive immunology and biology,
paediatric immunology and allergy.
