2004 Menzies Scholar in Law

Premala Thiagarajan holds the degrees of BA (pass) (2001) and LLB (H1) from Monash University (2002) and was placed 1/338 in her graduating class. During her academic career Ms Thiagarajan gained 6 prizes including the Supreme Court Prize and has one publication.

Ms Thiagarajan completed the 1 year BCL at Oxford.

2005 Menzies Scholar in Law

David Thomas holds the degrees of BA with First Class Honours (2000) and LLB with First Class Honours (2002) from the University of Sydney. He was ranked 1/276 and awarded the University Medal in History and the University Medal in Law.

David took up his one year scholarship in October 2005 at Oxford University where he is studying for the BCL.

PhD project entitled "Investigation of the impact of cisplantin-based therapy on neuropsychological function in patients with testicular cancer" was carried out in the Department of Psychology, University of Queensland.

Nicole Tyson holds the degrees of BA/LLB (H1) from the University of Tasmania (2000) and was placed 1/118 in her graduating class. During her academic career Miss Tyson gained 14 prizes including the University Medal and has 6 publications.

Nicole completed the 1 year degree of Master of Studies in Legal Research at Oxford.
