2007-2008
Ms Josie Barbaro holds the degree of Bachelor of Behavioural Science from La Trobe University. Josie's PhD project is entitled "Prospective Identification of Autism Spectrum Disorder in Infancy: The Social Attention and Communication Study" and will be carried out at La Trobe University.

Ms Jaci Barrett holds the degree of Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Deakin University and Bachelor of Science (Biomed) from Monash University.  Jaci's PhD project is entitled "The Role of FODMAPs in Gastrointestinal Disease" and will be carried out at Monash University.

Ms Anna Dawson holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Health from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of South Australia.  Anna's PhD project is entitled "Investigating predictive factors for low back pain and neck pain in nurses: a prospective study" and will be carried out at the University of Queensland.

2006-2007
Mr Andy Chien
holds the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland.   Andy's PhD project is entitled "Identification of minor neuropathy in whiplash associated disorders". 

Ms Leanne Hassett holds the degree of Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and Master of Health Science (Neurological Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney.  Leanne's PhD project is entitled "Fitness training after traumatic brain injury".

2005-2006
Ms Fiona Dobson who holds the degrees of BAppSc(Physiotherapy) and GradDip (Health Research) with First Class Honours from La Trobe University.  Fiona’s PhD project is entitled "Walking patterns in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy".

Ms Simone O'Shea who holds the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours from La Trobe University. Her PhD project is entitled "Investigation of the effects of peripheral strength training for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease".

2004-2005
Ms Keryn Proctor holds the degree of Masters of Family Therapy from La Trobe University. Keryn's PhD project is entitled "The Breaking Through Project: A school, family and rural community partnership to reduce suicide risk and increase safety in schools for at risk youth" at Bouverie Centre, La Trobe University.

2003-2004
Ms Angela Chang holds the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours and the University Medal from the University of Queensland. Ms Chang's PhD project is entitled "The effect of physiotherapy intervention in slow to wean intensive care patients", at Department of Physiotherapy, University of Queensland.

2002-2003
Ms Deborah Walsh  holds the degree of Master of Social Work from La Trobe University.  Deborah's PhD project was entitled "The level, extent and nature of domestic violence in pregnancy" at Department of Social Work, University of Melbourne.

2001-2002
Ms Marie Andrew holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology with First Class Honours from Flinders University of South Australia.  Marie's PhD project was entitled "Psychosocial outcome after cardiac surgery: Application of a coping model to understand predictors and the role of neuropsychological dysfunction" at Department of Psychology, Flinders University.

2000-2001
Ms Lynda Troy holds the degrees of Master of Clinical Psychology (1994), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Distinction) (1991) and Bachelor of Arts (1990), all from the University of Queensland. Lynda's PhD project was entitled "Investigation of the impact of cisplantin-based therapy on neuropsychological function in patients with testicular cancer" at Department of Psychology, University of Queensland.

1999-2000
Ms Tina Souvlis holds the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (H1) from the University of Queensland (1986) and had two papers published.  Tina carried out her PhD project entitled "Opioid and non-opioid analgesia spinal manual therapy" at the University of Queensland in the Department of Physiotherapy.

1998-1999
Ms Colleen Canning holds the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland (1977) and a Masters Degree in Motor Learning from Columbia University (1984). Her PhD project was entitled "Recovery of strength and dexterity following stroke: relationship to motor function" at the University of Sydney in the Department of Physiotherapy. Colleen had co-authored one book and four invited book chapters, as well as five papers in refereed journals.

1997-1998
Miss Sandra Brauer holds the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours and the University Medal (1992) from the University of Queensland. Her PhD project was entitled "Balance and ageing: an investigation of mediolateral postural stability" at the University of Queensland in the Department of Physiotherapy. Sandra has had several papers published.

1996-1997
Ms Allison Harvey holds the Degree of Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. Allison has had more than 10 papers published in refereed journals. During 1996 and 1997, she worked full-time for a PhD by research on a project entitled "Nature, process and treatment of Acute Stress Disorder after a motor vehicle accident" at the University of New South Wales.

1995-1996
Mr Paul Hodges holds the Degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours and the University Medal from the University of Queensland. He carried out a research project entitled "Investigations into the neuromotor control of background stabilisation of the trunk during volutnary limb movement" at the University of Queensland for the degree of PhD.

1994-1995
Ms Julie Hides holds the Degrees of Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Master of Physiotherapy Studies, both from the University of Queensland. She carried out a research project entitled "Determination of the effect of rehabilitative exercises of lumbar musculature using diagnostic ultrasound imaging" at the University of Queensland for the degree of PhD.

1993-1994
Ms Jennifer Fleming holds the Degree of Bachelor of Occuptional Therapy from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours and the University Medal. Jennifer carried out a research project entitled "An investigation of the development of self-awareness of deficits in patients in the first year post-head injury" at the University of Queensland for the degree of PhD.
