2007: 150th anniversary of Clarendon Terrace

Clarendon Terrace celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2007. The Menzies Foundation marked the occasion with a series of events developed in conjunction with the East Melbourne Historical Society, The National Trust (Victoria) and the East Melbourne Group. The level of public interest in these anniversary events led to the production of an interactive CD-Rom for purchase at $15. The CD features:

a lecture “Inner Melbourne in the 1850s” by Professor Miles Lewis AM, Faculty of Architecture, University of Melbourne,
an interactive guided tour of East Melbourne by Dr Celestina Sagazio, Senior Historian of the National Trust (Victoria) taking in 18 houses, the MCG and Fitzroy Gardens,
a presentation about Clarendon Terrace and the Menzies Foundation.
