Prime Minister's XI Cricket

PMs XI Cricket

Sir Robert created the Prime Minister’s XI concept in 1951, selecting his own team to play against visiting international squads.

For more than 30 years, the Prime Minister's XI Cricket Match has been an annual summer fixture on the cricket calendar.

The Menzies Foundation has provided the Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Trophy and the Menzies Medallion since 2005. The trophy is presented to the winning team and the medallion is presented to the man-of the-match.

Designed by Stuart Devlin, the trophy depicts eleven cricketers in various aspects of the game. Also designed by Stuart Devlin, the medallion is a replica of the trophy.
